OPERATIONS

Foxworth-Galbraith operates over 40 locations throughout Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Colorado and Arizona.

Our operations include our lumber and building material distribution branches, home improvement centers, door and window branches, kitchen design centers and roofing and drywall distribution centers.

Customer Service (Outdoors)

The Dispatch Team is responsible for delivery scheduling, fleet routing and plays a central role in meeting the delivery expectations of our customers.

The CDL Driver is responsible for safely securing and delivering lumber and building material products to customer jobsites. The CDL Driver is often the last associate to engage with the customer in the field and plays a key role in delivering the FG Customer Experience.

The Yard Worker is responsible for waiting on yard customers, loading and unloading materials and/or pulling material packs for customer deliveries.

The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely building material loads for customers, unloading materials and pulling materials packs for customer delivery.

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for customer service in the warehouse including loading materials for customers and delivering the FG Customer Experience.

The Gate Guard is responsible for safe-guarding material leaving the lumberyard. The Gate Guard also directs customer and vendor traffic in and out of the lumberyard.

Customer Service (Indoors)

The paint department Sales Associate is responsible for growing paint and stain sales to professional and DIY customers.

The plumbing & electrical Sales Associate is responsible for growing plumbing & electrical sales to professional and DIY customers.

The tool & hardware department Sales Associate is responsible for growing tool & hardware sales to professional and DIY customers.

The kitchen & bath Sales Associate is responsible for the kitchen sales cycle including design, sourcing and growing kitchen & bath sales.

The Lumber Estimator reviews customer project plans and determines material needs based on plan requirements.

The lumber counter Sales Associate is a front line associate that interacts with and provides customer service to walk-in contractors and DIY customers with large projects.

The Cashier is a front line associate that interacts with and transacts in-store customers. The Cashier is typically the last customer touch point and key in providing the FG Customer Experience.

Managers & Supervisors

The Market Manager manages multiple branches in a metro or larger mid-market. Market Managers are responsible for leading their team of General Managers to optimize sales and profitability. The Market Manager is responsible for every aspect of the branches under their direction including but not limited to profit and loss, budgeting, product procurement, inventory management, customer relationships and managing the sales force.

The General Manager manages store and yard operations to optimize sales and profitability. The General Manager is responsible for every aspect of the operation, including but not limited to profit and loss, budgeting, product procurement, inventory management, customer relationships and managing the sales force.

A General Manager in Training is an internal or external management candidate who shows the potential to lead. Candidates are enrolled in a comprehensive management training program that prepares them for a management position in operations or manufacturing. This is a paid position and candidates will receive on the job and classroom training to prepare them to step into a General Manager opportunity.

The Store Manager is a key component of our home center management team. The Store Manager oversees the in-store customer experience including merchandising, ad prep, supervision of store associates and hardline inventory procurement. Store Managers are responsible for hardline sales growth and profitability and report to the General Manager.

The Yard Operations Manager is a key component of our management team. The Yard Operations Manager oversees the outside lumber yard customer experience including product procurement, order pulling and dispatching, yard cleanliness, supervision of yard and warehouse associates and fleet safety and compliance. The Yard Operations Manager reports to the General Manager.

The Yard Foreman assists the Yard Operations Manager. The Yard Foreman oversees the outside lumber yard customer experience, inventory, shrink management, order pulling, yard cleanliness, supervision of yard and warehouse associates and fleet safety and compliance.

The Floor Supervisor is responsible for assisting store managers in our home centers. The Floor Supervisor often assumes the Store Manager role when the Store Manager is unavailable. The Floor Supervisor is responsible for the in-store customer experience, inventory management, ad prep, customer service and supervision of floor associates.

Leadership

The Regional Vice President oversees and is responsible for multiple branches within a region. Regional Vice Presidents are responsible for leading their team of General Managers to optimize sales and profitability.  The Regional Vice President is responsible for every aspect of the branches under their direction including but not limited to profit and loss, budgeting, product procurement, inventory management, customer relationships and managing the sales force. As a member of the Senior Leadership team, Regional Vice Presidents also play a major role in setting the company’s overall strategic direction and execution.

The Regional Director is responsible for assisting the Regional Vice President in overseeing multiple branches in the region. The Regional Director is also involved in inventory and fleet audits, merchandising and implementing company policies and procedures.

The Regional Credit Manager oversees accounts receivable including managing credit limits, liens and customer payments. The Regional Credit Manager also works closely with the Regional Vice President and Branch Bookkeepers.

The Fleet Manager oversees the maintenance and reliability of our fleet, which includes all of our trucks, trailers and forklifts. The Fleet Manager also ensures we meet DOT and safety requirements and provides training and guidance to our operations.
